Reacts with a 24 kDa type III transmembrane protein which is expressed on platelets, pre-B cells, monocytes, endothelia, and epithelia. CD9 
belongs to a family of membrane proteins called tetraspanins which transverse the membrane four times. CD9 is weakly expressed on resting 
mature B cells. M-L13 induces platelet aggregation and activation. This antibody is also suitable for staining acetone-fixed, frozen tissue 
sections

The monoclonal antibody was purified from tissue culture supernatant or ascites by affinity chromatography.
The antibody was conjugated with FITC under optimum conditions, and unreacted FITC was removed.
Store undiluted at 4° C and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.
